Just a quick update because I really like this photo. Last night was the Art-A-Fair Festival's Premier Opening Night. I got all dressed up, served some yummy desserts, talked to lots of interesting people, and had lots of fun. Today I am recuperating. (Oh, yeah, and I sold a few things, too!)

The Art-A-Fair Festival in Laguna Beach, CA will soon be starting. I am busily getting my booth ready for this 2-month long art show. My car is packed with as much as a Toyota Corolla can carry. Tomorrow we start hanging artwork on the walls. Wednesday is our Opening Night.
So, I won't be posting much for the next few days. Wish me luck! I do a lot of selling on eBay, and so I've gotten to know my mailman very well. Today, when I gave him a bunch of invitations to my next art opening to mail, I also handed one to him. As I was explaining to him what the invitation was for, I could see that he was growing more uneasy.
Or, to paraphrase the line from the Clint Eastwood Dirty Harry movie Magnum Force, "an artist's got to know his limitations." This past weekend, I did two back-to-back shows. Setup and teardown on Saturday, setup and teardown on Sunday.
