Be courteous to your fellow artists and move your car!

Saturday morning I was up, not so bright and very early. In fact, it was still pitch dark outside. I wanted to be sure to get to the show in plenty of time, so that I could get my car right in front of my space. I got to the show at exactly the time specified to be there for set up. I get to my space and guess what, I can't park in front of it.
Why not? Because there's a great big RV with a trailer parked in front of my space, along with the next three spaces over from me. This artist had obviously been there for awhile. His booth was already set up, and he was hanging his art work. But he hadn't moved his vehicle yet.

Luckily, the neighbors on my other side hadn't arrived yet. So, I was able to squeeze my car in. I unloaded everything as fast as I could. I unloaded the last box just in the nick of time. My other booth neighbor was just pulling up. I got out of her way so she could squeeze in, just like I did.

Pretty soon the show promoters saw what was happening and came over and spoke to the artist about moving his vehicle. He was nice enough about it, that didn't seem overly concerned that he was hindering his fellow artists.

Yes, I know, it's nice having your vehicle right there when you're setting up or tearing down. Just remember, everyone else is trying to do the same thing.
