They asked about my work and I showed them my booth. The woman said, "Oh, yes, we've seen your work since before you had your gallery." Well, it turns out that 15 years ago, they commissioned me to do a quilt from the t-shirts their daughter had collected from her various theater performances. Their daughter is now grown and married and still has that quilt.
They may not have purchased anything from me this time, but I am glad that my mailing list helped to bring them in to the show. And now they have an original painting by a budding artist. Congratulations to Callie!
